It's really easy to try out this great sport. Come along to one of our have-a-go-days. You can book by telephoning the shooting ground direct on 01942 843578 on Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday between 10am and 4pm

OK I hear what you say what do I get for the money.
The lesson starts with a full safety talk from the instructor.
There will be a maximum of 5 shooters in the group.
You get 25 targets and 25 cartridges each.
All protective Eye and Ear wear is included.
All we suggest is that you wear sturdy footwear and bring a warm waterproof jacket.
The lesson will last approx.1 hour with a full group.
Please note:- We recommend a minimum age of 15 for shooting lessons.

The Manchester Clay Pigeon Shooting Centre opening times are:-
Wednesday 10am to 4pm,
Thursday 10am to 9pm (Floodlit shooting until 9pm),
Saturday 10am to 4pm and alternate Sundays for competitions.
Please note food is only be available on
Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday
between 12noon and 2pm
Sundays Food is available from 9am till 2pm
A6 Clay Target Centre Limited creates a new shooting experience for the Clay Pigeon Shooting enthusiast in Manchester and the North West of England.
Set amid rolling farmland west of the Pennine moors just off J6 M61 turn right down the lane beside ATS.
There is a large homely Clubhouse offering comfortable refuge from the non to welcome showers we are still encountering.
Wednesday 10am till 4pm (Food Available 12noon till 2pm)
Thursday 10am till 9pm (Food Available 12noon till 2pm)
Saturday 10am till 4pm (Food Available 12noon till 2pm)
Alternate Sundays 8am till close of shoot. (Food Available 9am till 2pm)
This Lancashire clay pigeon shooting ground is a choice venue for many of the regions keen trap shooters running county and regional qualifiers and championships. Just 30 minutes from Liverpool, Wigan, Prestonand Warrington we are at the centre of the North West. The fixture list for Sundays is fit to bursting with events.
The Manchester clay pigeon shooting ground boasts four covered layouts. All of these can cater for ABT and DTL while two can be used for English Skeet.
The targets are extremely good especially the DTL and Automatic Ball Trap as these are the most requested disciplines. (It's no use practising on target that are not going the distance or are out of angle)
If you are unhappy about anything with the Manchester Clay Pigeon Shooting ground the manager will sort it out straight away and that's a promise.
